Crochet Sling Bags

image

Pink sling bag used Rainbow Happy Fun Pouch stitch pattern from Mooglyblog. The strap used single crochet and slip stitches because I wanted small strap but still pretty strong.

Blue sling bag used Suzette Stitch pattern from Make and Do Crew.

Magenta sling bag used The Snowdrift Slouch Hat stitches pattern from Little Monkeys Crochet. I even used the stitches for the strap. It’s beautiful.

Blue sling bag with flap used no pattern, kinda just wing it.

Rainbow sling bag used any stitches that I know so no pattern.

As you can see, I only used the stitches and didn’t follow the patterns to the T (or you’d get a pouch, a hat and a bag, not sling bags).

Happy crocheting.

Rainbow Crochet Sling Bag

Finally, a sling bag that my mum asked me to make for her is done (the strap wasn’t stitched to the bag body in the picture, yet). It’s a simple bag, only using single crochet for the body and strap, and double crochet to make shell pattern for the flap. But my mum quite pleased with the result, so yay!

All you need:

1. Bangles (any kind)
2. Embroidery floss, threads, yarns, etc.
3. Double tape.
4. Clear glue or nail polish.

How to:

1. Cover all the surface of the bangles with double tape.
2. Start wrapping the bangles using embroidery floss, thread, or yarn until all covered.
3. Secure the floss, thread, or yarn with glue or nail polish so it won’t unravels.
